Rock Stars In Training is a fun and educational weekly music program for babies, young children, and their caregivers. Each class is a blast. The participants sing both original and classic songs in a variety of musical genres. In addition, participants will learn pitch and rhythm by introducing an assortment of new instruments. Children play along with bells, scarves, rhythm sticks and particpate in movement activities to enhance musical learning. Each week new songs and fun activities are introduced in a relaxed and playful family environment. Rock Stars in Training is the only children's music class in Los Angeles that is taught by a professional recording artist and award-winning musician. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

Cooking classes based on the popular & award-winning Handstand Kids Cookbook Series. Offering a hands-on, unique cooking experience, each class uses organic ingredients to make healthy and yummy foods from around the world for kid chefs, ages 2 ½ to 8 years old. To celebrate the launch of the Chinese Cookbook we will cooking up Chinese Noodle Clusters and Spring Rolls – Just to name a few! The participants enjoy the fruits of their labor during each class.
Habla blah blah classes are designed for monolingual families in a multi-cultural world as in introduction to another language -Spanish! Classes introduce the sounds and words of espanol in a fun and playful way specifically oriented toward little ears and tongues at this critical period of language development and acquisition. Children and their caregivers participate in songs, play, and ritualized communication in an organized and organic method that studies have proven best enables kids to learn. Open to children aged 9 months to five years and their caregivers. No previous languages skills are necessary. Classes are limited to 12.
